Blocks & Accessories

Wooden blocks are some of the most popular and enduring equipment used to foster children's learning in New Zealand early childhood centres. They are invitingly familiar to most children, pleasant to hold and non-threatening to use. They can be combined and recombined into an infinite number of arrangements, providing an interesting challenge to people of all ages. Unlike puzzles, which are 'self-correcting' and inform the children when they are 'finished', it is the builder who determines when a block construction is finished to their satisfaction.
