Morepork (Ruru) with sound - Antics

Ruru is a small dark brown native owl with a beige and brown mottled front and typically large owl eyes. It is nocturnal, eating a variety of insects and small animals. It is mainly found in forested areas from sea level to high country. The Ruru has a variety of calls but derives its common name from the iconic call that sounds like "more-pork". Squeeze this soft and cuddly Ruru to hear its "more-pork" call.
